Wills are not private!

Writer: Isha Kakkar, Esq.Isha Kakkar, Esq.

Did you know that a Will may be private while you live, but once you pass, a Will must be lodged with the court, thus making it a part of public record. One way to avoid this is having a living trust in place. A living trust does not become a part of public record and allows your wishes to remain private.
